As a project for college, I made movie title sequence style frames for moving images history class. Had to recreate an opening title sequence of a movie using a technique from an artist we had gone over in class. We had to create four frames using the technique.

I chose Maurice Binder for his “dot sequence” in Dr. No from the James Bond franchise and then chose my favorite childhood movie, Disney’s The Lion King.

I thought since the movie takes place in Africa, I would use the sun. Then I created a color palette using a photo of an African sunrise and then used the suns to create African animals. Added four more frames for portfolio.
